KAIST GCC developed a global technology commercialization support system for emerging countries focusing on ICT and scientific technology fields in order to enhance technology transfer in developing countries.
KAIST GCC provides the most effective integrated global commercialization program composed by several phases of commercialization processes such as exploring market’s demand, technology transfer, commercialization, education and consulting.
KAIST GCC built a global cooperative network between Korea and partner countries with a mission to enable technology transfer and commercialization and provide a search engine with accurate information of ICT market supply, demand, and matching technologies.
We expect that through such efforts local R&D develops highly competitive ICT business outcomes and contributes to enhance KAIST GCC’s technological cooperative network and promotes global commercialization between Korea and partner countries.

The operation of the integrated global technology commercialization program includes technology transfer, commercialization, education, consulting, and human resource exchange; all these coordinated activities in order to achieve more efficient and systematic global commercialization.
Building a global cooperative network based on KAIST GCC, Regional Hubs (RH), and Sub Hubs (SH). The strategy followed consisted in establishing selected regional hubs in five initial countries in order to begin a growth effect while expanding gradually throughout each region.
Exploring domestic targets and/or matching technology after survey technology demand of developing countries. Building a domestic cooperative network with research institutes such as KAIST and ETRI as well as industrial firms.
Providing KAIST GCC technology DB to domestic and international potential users gathering demand, target, matching, and business technology collected throughout the technology commercialization process.
Online education service on technology commercialization for users in developing countries will be operated once online education platform for technology commercialization and Technology DB are on track.
