Summary Ultrasonic testing has long been used as a real-time, non-destructive testing to evaluate the interior of materials.

Unlike radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing has the advantage of obtaining internal information without any special constraints.

The resulting image contains accurate information on size, shape and location, thus providing complete information on the inner state .
