Summary Power bed fusion (PBF) is one of the most widely used methods in metal 3D printers whereby powder is added layer by layer before a laser is used for sintering of each layer. The density of each layer
depends on the geometry of the powder and operating conditions, eventually affecting the quality of the finished product.

This technology is about predicting the density of each layer using a embedded weight gauge in the printer, which improve the reliability of products.
Advantage The share of personal applications will be small relative to expanding industrial applications including aerospace and automotive parts and healthcare
