Technology introduction

In order to satisfy the human’s desire for movement, the mobility technology has been evolved diversely. The technology core of future mobility includes “electrification”, “smartization”, and “spatialization”

New mobility industry has been emerged from the technologies which enhance the quality of human life and create new value; for example, electrical vehicle, autonomous driving, connected vehicle, MaaS(Mobility as a Service), and UAM(Urban Air Mobility)

Robotics as well as mobility is also technology that improve enormously the convenience of human life. Robot has common functional components with mobility system such as perception by sensors, decision making with AI, and control by mechatronics. Automobile will be regarded as mobile robot in the future. The domain of robotics has been extended from industrial robot to service robot.
